Archaeological Museum of Agios Nikolaos

Just a short walk away from NIKO Seaside Resort, visit the Archaeological Museum of Agios Nikolaos, Crete’s most important museum. Embark on a journey of discovery through Crete’s illustrious past and extensive history which spans back centuries, its messages and influences still echoing today. The museum houses a collection of important findings origination in eastern Crete, from the town of Malia to the distant Zakros. Here you will also set eyes on over 1500 artefacts as well as the oldest gold and bronze objects to ever be found in Crete. Please note that the Museum remains temporarily closed.
